Preview: Signs of the second coming of the Lord.

1. How will God’s people know the secret of Christ’s coming? Amos 3:7.
2. To whom will Jesus reveal all things? John 15:15.
3. Will the wicked understand? Why? Daniel 12:10.
4. How much will God’s servants know? I John 2:20.
Note: The biblical definition of “unction” is- 1 : the act of anointing as a rite of consecration or healing. 2 : something used for anointing : ointment, unguent. 3a : religious or spiritual fervor or the expression of such fervor. b : exaggerated, assumed, or superficial earnestness of language or manner : unctuousness.
5. Who only will understand all things? Proverbs 28:5.
6. Why will God’s people understand so much? John 16:13-14.
Note: We now have the wisdom with which God will reveal to His people all things.
7. Will God reveal the deep things? In which manner? I Corinthians 2:9-10.
8. How will the coming of the Lord be to those who are unsaved? I Thessalonians 5:2.
9. Will God’s people be overtaken as a thief? Why not? I Thessalonians 5:4-5.
10. Will Bible students not in the spirit have the knowledge of Christ’s coming? What will those in the spirit learn? II Timothy 3:7, II Timothy 2:15.
11. Why will many Bible students be rejected by Christ? Matthew 7:21-27.
Note: Studying the Bible alone is not enough. They must be doing the will of the Father which is in Heaven. If they do the will of God, they will know the truth (John 17:17). Many are studying it for the historical and genealogical part, while others are studying it for the spiritual benefits, that they might receive the blessing of redemption that their load of sin may be “Removed as far as the east is from the west” that they may be filled with that Comforter which ensures them salvation.

13. What kind of religion will most people have prior to Christ coming? II Timothy 3:5, II Timothy 3:7.
14. Where will the love of man be prior to Christ coming? II Timothy 3:1-4.
15. How will unprepared men receive the Lord? Isaiah 13:6-8.
16. What will sinners be doing when Christ comes? Revelation 6:14-17.
17. What kind of doctrine will most men have in the last days? I Timothy 4:1.
18. Why should we remind men of God’s warning in the last days? I Timothy 4:6.
19. Will the saints of God be ready for His coming? How will they feel? Isaiah 25:9.
